Kybella

Kybella® is an FDA-approved, non-surgical injectable designed to treat submental fullness, commonly known as a “double chin.” This condition can result from genetics, weight gain, or the natural aging process, and it can be difficult to address with diet and exercise alone.

Kybella contains deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps break down and absorb fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, it destroys fat cells, leading to a noticeable reduction in fullness. Once these cells are eliminated, they can no longer store fat, so further treatment is typically not needed once your aesthetic goal is achieved. Most patients require 2–4 treatments to achieve optimal results.
